Dr. Michelle Shumaker
Dr. Shumaker graduated from Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Prior to her veterinary career, this Louisville native attended Mercy Academy and obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown College, and her master’s degree in psychology from Xavier University. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Shumaker spends time with her husband, three young children and three cats. Her hobbies include watching movies, theater, painting and enjoying Louisville’s numerous restaurants and breweries. Dr. Shumaker and her family reside in the Highlands and is so proud to be your friendly neighborhood veterinarian. She looks forward to serving the Seneca community and getting to know you and your four-legged friends.
Dr. Eugenie Greene
Dr. Greene remembers well when Sparky, the first patient of Seneca Animal Hospital walked through the doors in June of 1987. She loves how veterinary medicine teaches something new every day to the benefit of dogs, cats, and all living beings. Dr Greene grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, received her bachelor’s degree at Mount Holyoke College, a Masters in Toxicology from University of Kentucky, and her DVM degree from The Ohio State University in 1984. She is proud to have a husband, son, and daughter-in-law all with DVM’s after their name, too.
Dr. Sueleal Berlin
Dr. Berlin graduated in 1990 from Texas A&M with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She has been a valuable part of Seneca Animal Hospital since 1995. Dr. Berlin is a member of AVMA, KVMA, AAFP, and board member of GLVMA.
